Quick hit: Running Voices

Because you can never hear enough of people talking about their bodies, check out the Running Voices section from the New York Times. It features interviews and photos of people from various backgrounds and abilities, describing why they run. A nun, a rabbi, and a “joggler” are among those interviewed. A particularly interesting story is Emily Schaller’s, a woman with Cystic Fibrosis, who found that running improved her lung function, and continues to run for her health (But like, real health, not losing-weight-is-automatically-healthy health):

With every step I’m kind of beating CF, you know… that’s what keeps me going.
